B.J. Ward, or Betty Jean Ward (born September 16, 1944), is an American voice actress, actress, and singer. On the Snorks, she's best known for voicingCasey Kelp, Lil Seaweed, as well as several additional characters.

Personal Life and Acting Career[]

B.J, Ward was born Betty Jean Ward in Wilmington, Delaware. She began appearing on stage in 1960 in the original off-Broadway production titled The Fantasticks. She was an udnerstudy for the role of Luisa, and she had gotten the part by calling the producer of the show. Around this time period, she was also a Playboy Bunny at the New York Playboy Club. She toured with the Groundlings for a short while before she landed the role as "Jana of the Jungle" in 1978. B.J. Ward is also the creator of her musical one woman show, Stand-Up Opera, and is a licensed aviator. For a while, she was married to Donald Trenner. Since 1995, however, she's been married to voice director Gordon Hunt, and also happens to be the stepmother of Helen Hunt.
